IRSEI data

This dataset contains annual Improved Remote Sensing Ecological Index (IRSEI) products for the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration (YRDUA) from 2001 to 2022. IRSEI integrates ecosystem state indicators (kNDVI, WET, NDBSI, and LST) with a landscape fragmentation metric (Landscape Division Index, DIVISION) within a unified assessment framework. The dataset was generated using MODIS observations and landscape metrics derived from land cover data, aggregated to a spatial resolution of 500 m. Each raster file represents annual ecological quality values ranging from 0 to 1, where higher values indicate better ecological conditions after accounting for both ecosystem state and landscape configuration. All datasets are provided in GeoTIFF format using the WGS 84 / UTM Zone 51N coordinate reference system (EPSG:32651).
