This study investigated Chinese netizens’ intentions to intervene and influencing factors in CV through a 2 (CV severity: low vs. high) × 2 (social cues: low vs. high) × 2 (tone of users comments: non-aggressive vs. aggressive) between-subjects experiment (N = 405).
