Ambient Monitoring Data and R Scripts for Multi-Pollutant Fuzzy Clustering Source Attribution of Industrial PM2.5 and SO2 in a Chilean Sacrifice Zone (Miguel Lugo)
Abstract
This dataset contains the original ambient monitoring data and reproducible R scripts supporting the manuscript entitled “Multi-Pollutant Fuzzy Clustering for Joint Source Attribution of Industrial PM2.5 and SO2 Emissions in a Chilean Sacrifice Zone.” The database includes hourly concentrations of SO2 (ppb), PM2.5 (ug/m3), and PM10 (ug/m3) collected from three fixed-site monitoring stations (La Greda, Maitenes, and Puchuncaví) located in the industrialized Quintero–Puchuncaví complex in central Chile. Meteorological variables are also provided, including wind speed (WS), wind direction (WD), air temperature (T), and atmospheric pressure (P), measured at the same stations. For each monitoring station, four types of files are included: (1) the original raw database (e.g., Greda_Origin_2018_2022.csv), (2) the processed dataset used for analysis (e.g., Greda.csv), (3) data preprocessing and conversion scripts (e.g., Conversion_Greda_Origin_2018_2022.R), and (4) the FUSTA algorithm implementation (e.g., FUSTA_Greda.R) used for fuzzy clustering analysis. The files are under embargo and will be publicly released upon publication of the associated article.
