MAGNETO-RADIATIVE INTERACTIONS OVER AN EXPONENTIALLY STRETCHING SURFACE
Abstract
This study investigates the combined influence of magnetic and radiative effects on boundary layer flow and heat transfer over an exponentially stretching surface. The novelty of this work lies in its integrated treatment of magnetohydrodynamic and radiative interactions within a nonlinear exponential stretching framework, representing a realistic model for advanced thermal-fluid systems. Using similarity transformations and the bvp4c numerical solver, the impacts of key parameters such as the magnetic field, radiation, and Prandtl number are analyzed. Results demonstrate that magnetic fields enhance wall shear but suppress heat transfer, whereas radiation increases fluid temperature and boundary layer thickness. The findings provide new insight into optimizing magneto-radiative heat transfer in manufacturing and thermal control applications.
