Research data supporting "Gapless Edge Gravitons and Quasiparticles in Fractional Quantum Hall Systems with Non-Local Confinement"
Abstract
This dataset contains the numerical data used to generate the figures presented in the paper "Gapless Edge Gravitons and Quasiparticles in Fractional Quantum Hall Systems with Non-Local Confinement", which studies fractional quantum Hall systems in the presence of a non-local confining potential using exact diagonalisation. The data were generated with the DiagHam software package. DiagHam was used to construct and exactly diagonalise finite-size many-body Hamiltonians in the fractional quantum Hall regime, yielding energy spectra and many-body eigenstates for a range of system sizes on the disk geometry. Depending on the figure, the files contain either quantities obtained directly from exact diagonalisation calculations (such as energies for different system sizes) or quantities derived from the resulting many-body eigenstates through post-processing, including overlaps with trial states and data associated with constructed trial wavefunctions. The data are stored as ASCII .dat files and are named according to the figure in which they appear (e.g. figure_2_left.dat contains the data used to generate the left panel of Figure 2). Together, these files provide the numerical values underlying all figures in the publication and enable reproduction of the reported results.
