A spread from my 'Haydn' altered book notebook. This spread was used in fragments in 'The Apocalypse' room of HAYDN SPACE OPERA and also appears as this complete image in 'The Corridor'. The annotations in the margins read 'Jennifer Walshe', 'burn-out' and 'make more mess'. These refer to insights and intentions which emerged from the illegible writing-through seen on the page, in which I decided I should listen to more music by Jennifer Walshe, to get to know her work better, and resolved to experiment more in a looser fashion, without making an attempt to keep those experiments tidy and orderly.
