Abstract

On oyster table in the Thau lagoon, Ifremer measures hydrological parameters (temperature, salinity, turbidity, florescence, dissolved oxygen) at high-frequency (depth 1 to 2m) measure every 15 minutes (an information sheet is included with the data). To limit biofouling, there is a localized chlorination at the sensor, copper, wiper and UV-C light. These devices are calibrated regularly with a connection to ITS90 for temperature , IAPSO standards for salinity and formazine for turbidity. The data are qualified by calibrations in the laboratory. For salinity: calibrations in-situ (since 2015), comparisons between sensors and post treatment correction (since 2019) are also conducted. A maximum permissible error (MPE) is calculated for the temperature and salinity data, taking into account the measurement bias and the measurement uncertainty (k=2). Since 2025, the sensors have been gradually controlled by a Campbell CR1000 datalogger in order to have faster access to the data : https://ecoscopa-donnees.ifremer.fr/ https://velyger.ifremer.fr/Acces-aux-donnees2
