Abstract
ICES advises that when the maximum sustainable yield (MSY) approach is applied, catches in 2026 should be no more than 1 220 tonnes.In order to obtain samples to assess the status of the stock in 2027, ICES advises a monitoring total allowable catch (TAC) in 2026. Catches should not exceed 5 000 tonnes and should have an associated sampling protocol in the fishery.
