Es una puerta entre dos aulas: Una universidad inclusiva a través del arte
Abstract
A Door Between Two Classrooms presents a collaborative artistic practice at the university between students studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education and a group of artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The aim was to support the construction of an inclusive university by exploring the visual project of the artists as a potential encounter space and contributing to the development of natural relationships based on the shared creative process. From an art-based research approach and using photographic pairs, the shared exploration process is captured through the technique of light painting as an opportunity for collaboration and mutual learning, highlighting the interdependence and human relationships built through art. The experience demonstrates the importance of using diverse and contemporary artistic references in arts education. It also recognises shared artistic practices in the university context as an opportunity to develop transformative and inclusive experiences, raise awareness and build fairer institutions and societies that develop inclusive and human consciousness.
