ExpresArte: una propuesta de Educación Física mediante el baile, expresión corporal y emocional
Abstract
This study describes an educational proposal focused on body language for the development of social and emotional skills in secondary school students, designed based on the hybridization of pedagogical models. The effect on students of implementing a learning situation aimed at promoting social and emotional skills was analyzed. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, normality tests (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), Student t-tests to compare performance by sex, and simple linear regression analysis to explore whether sex predicted performance on the assessment criteria and the final grade. The data showed high and consistent scores on most variables. Female students performed better on the musical structure questionnaire and on the final grade in Group A. However, sex did not act as a statistically significant predictor of overall performance. he data analyzed by sex show a parallel with other studies regarding the predisposition toward emotionally and expressively charged tasks. The results also show concordance regarding the educational advantages of using teaching models for the development of social skills. It is concluded that this teaching approach favors students' emotional and social development, with few differences attributable to sex. It is recommended that its expanded implementation and longitudinal evaluations be conducted to reinforce these findings.
