Ultra-wideband matching device for flat fractal antennas
Abstract
Problem statement. There is a need to develop new methods for matching ultra-wideband antennas, considering their design features, electromagnetic properties, and requirements for stable operation in a wide frequency range. Objective. To perform electrodynamic modeling, create a model, and investigate the characteristics of an ultra-wideband matching device for a two-loop fractal antenna in the frequency range of 0.3-10.0 GHz. Results. A design of an ultra-wideband matching device for a two-loop fractal antenna is proposed. Research has shown that the device allows for guaranteed matching in the 0.25-9.0 GHz range with an average VSWR of 2.09. A distinctive feature of this device is its mounting on the radiating surface of the antenna. Practical significance. Based on the results of experimental studies, the proposed broadband matching device can be used to match flat fractal antennas.
