Abstract

The advent of thermal imagers has created conditions for diagnostics by observing IR-radiation from the object under study. However, the use of thermal imagers that allow viewing a 2D-projection of a 3D-diagnostic object on the screen in at least two IR radiation variants (monochrome color or multispectral color) to solve the tasks at hand is complicated by the lack of the necessary components of a person's cognitive model in which his experience in working with IR-images is accumulated. Work purpose – development of a comprehensive solution for monitoring and diagnosing diseases that change the IR radiation of individual skin areas. The studies of IR radiation of 3D objects in two color variants were conducted: monochrome and multispectral, which made it possible to develop a plan for the formation of a cognitive model of a specialist. The results of the studies showed that for the practical implementation of thermal imagers, a system for training a specialist in the correct perception of the resulting image is necessary.
