Abstract

Problem Statement. The need for periodic correction of inertial navigation system navigation definitions is associated with the accumulation of positioning errors due to the integration of inertial sensor measurement results. Objective. To evaluate the effectiveness of using satellite, relief measurement, and magnetometric systems to correct inertial navigation system navigation definitions. Results. The physical principles and mathematical models underlying satellite, relief measurement, and magnetometric systems are examined, along with the results of modeling their application for correcting inertial navigation system navigation definitions. Practical Relevance. The obtained results are used in the development of onboard navigation equipment for aircraft.
