Implementação de um Repositório Digital Institucional para a gestão da informação e comunicação da produção técnico-científica da Faculdade Pernambucana de Saúde.

Contextualization - the construction of scientific knowledge has always been linked to the incentive for the development of research and the environment where its dissemination takes place. Thus, Institutional Digital Repositories emerge as an alternative to disseminate the scientific communication process and for the management of an Institution's scientific knowledge; Purpose - This research aimed to present the stages of development and implementation of a Repository at Faculdade Pernambucana de Saúde; Methodology - For the creation of a Repository, it was foreseen the execution of a range of activities of political, legal, educational, cultural aspects and some important technical components. The first stage was dedicated to research on Institutional Digital Repository and which platform could be used in the institution and training of the team. In the second step, the software chosen for creating the repository was installed. In the third stage, the Repository was implemented and the platform launched; Results – With the implementation of the Repository, a technical report and an instructional video were prepared to publicize and highlight its importance for the Institution among the academic community. The video was made available on the institution's website and social networks; Conclusion - This research highlighted the importance of actions aimed at organizing and recovering the institution's technical-scientific production. And it resulted in a tool that favors the distance established between the face-to-face and the remote for the academic community.
