Abstract

This case report describes successful management of the posterior maxillary edentulism through simultaneous implant placement with piezoelectric-assisted sinus floor augmentation using a lateral window approach. A 47-year-old female with severe sinus pneumatization underwent atraumatic membrane elevation, xenograft placement, and implant insertion in relation to 14, 16, and 17. Implants achieved good primary stability, and follow-up showed uneventful healing, graft integration, and a favorable prosthetic outcome. Piezosurgery proved to be a minimally invasive and is a reliable option for maxillary sinus floor augmentation, ensuring safety and predictable results.
