Abstract

An experimental method for high-accuracy identification of fringes, obtained through holographic interferometry of bending plates, has been developed. Algorithms for fringes skeletonization in an analytic form, suitable for further mathematical transformations has been proposed. A novelty of the algorithm, compared to known analogues, lies in the method of skeletonization, which uses an additional information about the expected shapes of the fringes, in particular, it takes into account a form of the zero fringe and the fact that if a displacement field is continuous, the nearby fringes are "almost similar" (quasisimilar). It allows to perform fringes skeletonization step-by-step. Thus, the problem of connecting of fringe areas, which, with high detail of the displacement field and high density of the fringes, becomes non-trivial due to the inevitable exposure uneven and speckle structure of the image, has been solved.
