Formación del tecnólogo en Regencia de Farmacia en Colombia: Política pública e innovación curricular
Abstract
Introduction: This article analyzes the evolution of the Pharmacy Technologist as an essential part ofthe healthcare workforce in Colombia. Objective: To examine the influence of public policies andcurricular innovation processes on their training. Materials and methods: A descriptive anddocumentary methodology was used, based on the analysis of current regulations and curricula in thesector. Results: A trend toward more comprehensive curricula that prioritize patient safety and therational use of medications was observed. Conclusions: It is essential that academic training continuously respond to the technological and social challenges of the healthcare system to guaranteequality pharmaceutical services.
