Abstract

School inclusion is a topic that reflects a commitment to equitable education for all students. However, there are undergraduate courses that still offer a limited approach to school inclusion, which compromises the adequate training of future teachers. In this sense, initial teacher training allows the construction of an inclusive education, enabling them to welcome and meet the needs of all students. Thus, this study aims to analyze the curricular matrix of undergraduate courses offered by public educational institutions in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes/RJ, with an emphasis on subjects focused on school inclusion. Furthermore, it seeks to discuss the challenges and perspectives for the implementation of inclusion in the educational context, based on the subjects offered. The analysis highlights the limited presence of specific subjects on inclusion, highlighting the need to review and expand this content in undergraduate courses.
