Dialectical relationship between artificial intelligence and the rational picture of law

The aim of the research is to reveal the characteristics of the influence of artificial intelligence on the rational picture of law. To achieve this goal, the article analyzes contemporary doctrinal positions on the understanding of the essence of the rational picture of law and the role that artificial intelligence plays in its formation. The contradictory nature of the very concept of a rational picture of law is emphasized, as it is inevitably linked to the perceptions of a subject experiencing the influence of irrational factors. It is noted that artificial intelligence carries a number of serious risks for the modern rational picture of law, primarily value-based and cognitive. It is concluded that the use of law should be employed to limit the boundaries of artificial intelligence usage, as well as to establish effective guaranties for the protection of the rights of participants in social relations when interacting with new technologies.
