A significação paradoxal

This article focuses on the problems raised by Marion Carel in the treatment of the paradox in the Argumentative Semantics. According to the linguist, we can no longer think of paradoxical significations as oppositions of doxals one. Nowadays, Carel performs analyzes that show doxal and paradoxical are prolongations, not oppositions. And this inquiry, according to the author, must reshape both theoretical repertoire of his theory as to make (re) think other modus operandis for the paradox, work still to be done. It is within this problematic, which seems to require of the ducrotian theory new approaches and configurations, that we propose the hypothesis of the "argumentative cube" for the treatment of the new doxo-paradoxo relation in prolongation. And to test our hypothesis of theargumentative cube, we will have as corpus the expression “undead”, taken out of any use.
