Abstract
Abstract. The paper presents the results of a statistical analysis of voltage sags in a 10/0.4 kV distribution network based on power quality monitoring data. For an observation period of 136 days, the event occurrence rate, residual voltage , and sag duration Δt were analyzed at the 10 kV and 0.4 kV buses, as well as the transformation of sags through the distribution substation. It is shown that most disturbances are short-term and correspond to “shallow” sags with in the range of 70–90 % of nominal voltage; however, the distribution exhibits a tail of critical events (
