Standard regulatory support for providing medical care in the specialties of «cosmetology» and «dermatovenereology»: the need for improvement.
Abstract
Modern medical care in the fields of dermatology and cosmetology requires an update to the regulatory framework for staffing. Existing orders from the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation do not reflect changes in labor organization and modern technologies. Objective: to analyze the staffing and regulatory provision of medical care in the profiles of cosmetology and dermatovenereology with the aim of identifying shortcomings and proposing improvements. Methods. A comparative analysis of current regulations and a retrospective reconstruction of labor norms for medical workers in the specified profiles were used, along with calculations of the required number of positions based on current data. Results. Significant discrepancies were found between the regulations and the real needs of medical institutions. The need to revise orders No. 381n and No. 924n by introducing specific indicators for calculating staffing levels was identified. Calculations of the required number of dermatovenereologists’ positions in outpatient and inpatient settings at federal and regional levels were presented. Conclusion. The necessity for updating regulatory documents, introducing modern time standards for visits, and concrete staffing criteria to improve the efficiency and accessibility of medical care in dermatology and cosmetology is substantiated.
