Integración del aprendizaje-servicio en los estudios universitarios de grado en geografía. Análisis de implantación en España y su potencial aplicación a partir de un estudio bibliométrico
Abstract
Service-learning (SL) has been integrated into the different educational levels. The expression Service-Learning underlines the didactic value of service activities in the teaching-learning process, which is why committees have been set up to advise on and promote procedures for developing the ApS methodology appropriately, in accordance with university regulations. Surprisingly, as a result of the systemic analysis of the teaching plans in Spanish universities, we can see that they are poorly integrated into the curriculum of higher geographic education. Thus, this is one of the main conclusions reached, inasmuch as, as an educational approach, in addition to its remarkable institutional recognition, it denotes an enormous potential to be combined with a geographical approach. Finally, considering that the didactic value of ApS lies not only in a methodological question, but, above all, in its validity to understand realities apparently alien to the academic world, we propose to explore the possibilities of applying the ApS method in combination with the geographical approach through the bibliometric review of the Scopus database, peer review literature and quality bibliographic content, with tools for monitoring, analysis and visualization of the research.
