El uso de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) generativa para la investigación cuantitativa en Didáctica de la Geografía. Limitaciones y potencialidades para el análisis de los riesgos naturales
Abstract
Nowadays, the impact of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the academic field is significant, making it crucial to explore both its benefits and limitations. This research aims to assess whether the use of generative AI, specifically chatbots, is suitable for designing questionnaires (research quantitative) that analyse school students' perceptions and education on natural risks. To achieve this, a prompt was posed to six of the most currently popular chatbots (Aichatting, Chatbot 3.5, ChatGPT, Open AI, Spanish Chat GPT, Talk AI) to obtain an instrument that aligns with the research objectives (analyse the formation and perception of natural hazards). The results highlight that ChatGPT, Open AI, and Talk AI are the most suitable tools for designing questionnaires, due to their ability to address key dimensions such as education, the student environment, experiences, and emergency protocols. However, it is important to emphasize that while AI is an effective tool for researching natural hazards, it is essential for the researcher to interpret and decide how to use it correctly the results obtained.
