Abstract

Abstract The Multi Well Pad – Early Production project was initiated to address production deferment challenges in Kuwait's mature fields due to simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) during pad drilling. By redesigning cellar geometry, optimizing flowline hook-up, and implementing pre-laid underground flowlines, the project enabled early production from completed wells while drilling continued on the same pad. This paper presents the engineering design, implementation strategy, lessons learned, and quantifiable benefits of the pilot, with recommendations for future deployment across Kuwait Oil Company assets.
