Dizel Jeneratörlerde Farklı Yük Durumlarında Egzoz Susturucu Akustik Tasarımı ve Optimizasyonu
Abstract
This research investigates the design and optimization of an exhaust silencer to reduce the noise generated by diesel generators under different load conditions. Initially, acoustic data obtained from generators under various load conditions were collected, forming the basis for the silencer design. The designed silencer was analyzed three-dimensionally using the finite element method in terms of acoustic performance, backpressure, and thermal behavior. The effectiveness of the silencer in noise reduction, its compliance with the regulatory limit values, and its impact on generator performance were thoroughly evaluated. Physical tests conducted after optimization studies and analyses demonstrated a high level of consistency between the analytical and experimental data.
