Abstract
"The method extracts a new type of specific data segments suitable for building ARX models from long-term complex operating data. Based on the extracted data segments and ARX models, data samples are formulated to represent the estimated steady-state operating points and their extended valid ranges. These data samples supplement the special data segments for identifying the nonlinear flow characteristics of main steam control valves."
