Abstract

"This dataset provides a synthetic representation of digital security awareness levels across commonly recognized cybersecurity hygiene dimensions. The data has been artificially generated to reflect realistic variation in awareness related to password practices, software update behavior, phishing awareness, device security, data backup awareness, and exposure to basic security training. Each record in the dataset represents a fictional individual\u2019s awareness assessment, scored on a standardized five-point ordinal scale ranging from very poor (1) to very good (5). An overall awareness score is computed as the arithmetic mean of the individual awareness indicators. The dataset does not contain any real personal, organizational, or sensitive information and has been created solely for educational, analytical, and demonstration purposes. It may be used to support exploratory data analysis, introductory cybersecurity awareness studies, training exercises, and academic instruction related to digital security practices."
