What Affects Fuel Efficiency? A Data-Driven Study of Vehicle Data using ML Algorithms

This manuscript takes into account the different factors affecting fuel economy and describes the individual effect of each factor mentioned in the paper. The factors are described and we investigated which factors have the most impactful effect on a vehicle's fuel economy. In contrast to other research papers focusing on the fuel economy of vehicles, this manuscript takes into account fuel economy as a whole. In the paper we used two different ML algorithms to predict the real world effect of the different factors and identify the most effective variable in accurately predicting fuel economy.
