Abstract

Background: CTG is highly predictive of fetal well-being and has been used for over 50 years to monitor the fetus. But, CTG is subject to interpretation and largely relies on the guidelines based on imprecise and fixed FHR patterns. The objective is to assess the relationship of CTG with perinatal outcome and umbilical cord blood pH.
