Abstract
After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratoire de Météorologie et de Téléconnexion Géophysique in Toulouse (France), she held a postdoctoral fellowship and assistant professor position at the University of Bristol (UK) before joining ULB.Her research focuses on developing numerical models to understand environmental controls on past, present, and future carbon cycling.She is particularly interested in diagenetic transformations and burial of organic carbon in marine sediments, and its impact on global biogeochemical cycles and climate.Wolfgang Bach is a professor of petrology at the
