Abstract

The rapid increase in the Internet of Things (IoT) has resulted in security They caused the transformation of everyday environments into intelligent and responsive ecosystems. "Smart homes," which are being considered to be one of the most influential uses of artificial IoT, offer homeowners the capability to control appliances via automation. monitoring the security and energy efficiency. This paper will introduce a design and analysis of IoT-based smart home automation and the project involves a monitoring system that incorporates sensor and actuator technology along with cloud platforms. The design enables the control of light, fans, and every other device from the internet via household appliances, realtime monitoring of temperature and movements, and alert notifications for anomalies. In addition to the convenience of using the app, systems are designed to optimize safety, minimise energy expenditures, and maximize the “quality of life.” This research focuses on human-centric usability and addresses issues such as interoperability, scalability, and the privacy of data.
