Cosmological Origins of Organic Matter: A Conformal Cyclic Framework for Information Transfer across Aeons
Abstract
We present a comprehensive mathematical framework suggesting that organic matter in the current cosmic epoch may originate from extinct biological systems in the previous aeon, as described by Penrose's Conformal Cyclic Cosmology (CCC). We establish rigorous field equations and matching conditions at the conformal boundary ℐ⁺ → ℐ⁻, demonstrate that quantum decoherence timescales (τ_decoh ~ 10²⁸ years) are compatible with information preservation over cosmological timescales (10⁹⁷ years) through squeezed state protection, develop a detailed model for molecularto-photonic information transfer during particle mass decay phases, and show how photonic field configurations act as attractors in chemical space, reducing biogenesis timescales from 10¹²³ years (combinatorially impossible) to 10⁹ years (observationally consistent). The framework makes seven testable predictions including universal homochirality, structural motif convergence, and specific CMB polarization signatures. This work provides the first physically viable mechanism for trans-aeon biological information transfer and offers a novel resolution to the origin-of-life problem by embedding it within cosmological evolution.
