Assessing Bankruptcy Risk In Sustainable Enterprises Using The Altman Z-Score Model
Abstract
The Altman Z-Score model is a widely used tool for evaluating the financial health of an organization and assessing its risk of bankruptcy. The primary objective of this study is to apply the Altman Z-Score model to seven sustainable enterprises by calculating their Z-scores for the period from 2020 to 2024. Further, regression analysis is employed to forecast the Z-scores for the year 2025. The study identifies comparatively safer companies for investment by analyzing and highlighting the financial risk levels of all seven enterprises. In addition, the findings provide valuable insights for investors and stakeholders by supporting informed investment decision-making.
