Abstract

Logistics are one of the most important aspects in the management of a business, it also contributes significantly in the expenses incurred by a business. A supply chain without proper logistics is prone to delays in every part of the production chain from manufacturing to retail. It is therefore imperative for a business to properly manage their logistics and supply chains for an efficient management of resources and maximization of profits. The current rise of Artificial Intelligence applications opens new horizons of expansion within logistics, thus streamlining this difficult process. This paper details a web application which utilizes artificial intelligence in order to assist businesses in “Supply Chain Management” and optimization. It is also capable of “Inventory Management” and “Demand Forecasting” which allows businesses to analyze their inventory and make decision to either keep it or sell it prematurely based on the circumstances. It can also ascertain which products are selling well and advise whether to buy stock or not. These allow businesses to save money and time in excess inventory and supply chain inefficiencies.
