Digital Evidence Management Systems for Legal Case Documentation and Investigation Records
Abstract
Legal investigations and litigation processes generate extensive evidence records including documents, images, communications, and transaction histories. Effective case management requires organized storage and retrieval of these materials. This study evaluates digital evidence management systems that support structured evidence classification and record integrity verification. The framework includes secure storage architecture, metadata tagging systems, and search interfaces designed for legal case documentation. Evaluation results show that digital evidence management platforms assist legal professionals in maintaining accurate documentation and supporting efficient case analysis.
