O papel do Instagram na divulgação científica do periódico Residência Pediátrica

This study analyzes the Residência Pediátrica journal’s Instagram profile as a scientific dissemination strategy. Using a qualitative approach, posts from 2019 to 2025 were examined, focusing on formats, language, and engagement. The results show that the platform fosters closer connections with the audience, especially students and healthcare professionals, through interactive content, accessible language, and author recognition. The journal’s digital presence strengthens scientific communication, expands its reach, and builds stronger ties with readers. This experience highlights the potential of social media to democratize access to scientific information while maintaining academic rigor.
