الخصائص السيكومترية لمقياس العمليات المعرفية للأطفال ذوي اضطراب فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه - Psychometric Properties of the Cognitive Processes Scale for Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Abstract
Abstract:The current study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the cognitive assessment system in distinguishing between children with ADHD and typically developing children. The system is based on the PASS theory, which includes four cognitive processes: Planning, Attention, Simultaneous, and Successive processing. The sample consisted of 40 children aged 8–12 years, including 20 children with ADHD and 20 typically developing children. To analyze the data, the Independent Samples t-test was used. Results revealed statistically significant differences between the two groups in all four cognitive processes, indicating that the assessment system is valid and effective for cognitive profiling of ADHD children. Keywords: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) – Cognitive Assessment Scale (CAS).
