Abstract

Dietary addition of omega-3 fatty acids may be associated with effective assisted reproductive technology. For this reason, the aim was to investigate the impact of dietary addition of 1, 2, 3, and 4% fish oil (FO) on ovulatory response, quality, and maturation, fertilization, and embryonic development in vitro. Also, health indices, antioxidant capacity, and profiles of cortisol and triiodothyronine in serum of rabbits does were studied. A Completely Randomized Design with five treatments (6/group) was used in this study including control of the commercial diet (FO0), commercial diet supplemented with FO at levels of 1% (FO1), 2% (FO2), 3% (FO3), and 4% (FO4), respectively, for thirty days.
