Abstract

Conclusion: From the present results, it is evident that sulforaphane and zinc, from natural and pharmaceutical sources, have the potential to minimize the hazards of schizophrenia. However, the combined preventive approach exerted more pronounced protective effects than either intervention alone. Therefore, it is recommended that people at risk of schizophrenia consume natural sources rich in sulforaphane and zinc, such as fresh broccoli sprouts and pumpkin seed milk.
