Analysis of Global Fashion Trends in Printed Home Furnishings 2025 as an Approach to Innovating Contemporary Designs
Abstract
This study investigates global fashion trends within the home furnishings sector, with particular emphasis on design elements in printed textiles that correspond to international consumer preferences. The research underscores the increasing significance of digital technologies—especially artificial intelligence—in forecasting market shifts, enabling product personalization, analyzing market data, and enhancing design development, thereby reinforcing competitive advantage. Furthermore, the study aligns with the European Union’s orientation toward sustainable textiles, which serves as a guiding framework for future progress within the industry. On the applied level, the research examines international markets, with a specific focus on the United States owing to the size, diversity, and clearly defined design directions of its market. The study also incorporates case studies of leading global brands and investigates prevailing botanical, geometric, and seasonal patterns, in addition to examining distribution strategies in European markets. These insights contribute to a deeper understanding of marketing mechanisms and design applications within the home textile industry. The research problem is articulated as follows: How can global trends in printed home furnishings be utilized to develop innovative textile print designs that address the needs of both local and international markets? Methodologically, the study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach through technical and artistic analysis of Spring/Summer 2025 fashion trends to generate appropriate printed textile designs.
