Selim Hassan discovered this basin at Giza, central field, and find spot: S 89, and the location of this shaft is unknown now. This offering basin belongs to ¡st- Nwb and her son PtH- Spss. It is made of white limestone, rectangular in shape with two semi-equal rectangular depressions that gradually incline from top to bottom. The two holes are designated for liquid offerings such as water and wine. Two hieroglyphs’ lines are carved in sunken relief around the rim of the basin, illustrating the formula of Htp di nsw It most probably dated to the Old Kingdom, based mainly on some epigraphical details. The text of the basin contains an offering formula addressed to Anubis followed by the name and the title of the owner and that of her son. Some feasts are mentioned as occasions for receiving offerings.
