منهج السلف في الرجوع إلى العلماء The Methodology of the Salaf in Referring to Scholars

بُني هذا البحث لدراسة أدلة الرجوع إلى العلماء في أمرين على وجه الخصوص، أحدهما: كشف الشبهات وردها، والآخر: الرجوع إليهم في حال الفتن، وذلك باتباع المنهج الوصفي، بوصف منهج السلف في الرجوع إلى العلماء في الأمرين المذكورين، واستمداد ذلك من الأدلة من الكتاب والسنة وآثار الصحابة والتابعين. ومن أهم نتائج البحث المستخلصة من أدلته: هدي السلف هو سؤال العلماء لكشف الشبهات، وعظم خطر تصدي غير المتأهلين لكشف الشبهات، فقد يؤدي إلى إضعاف حجج الحق، وإظهار البدعة ونشرها، ووقوع المتصدي في الشك وربما الابتداع. ومنها: أن طريقة السلف هي رد الأمور العظيمة إلى العلماء، والاهتداء بقولهم في الفتن، وأن كبر السن شرط للعالم الذي يُرجع إليه في الفتن، وكون الرجوع إلى العلماء في الفتن من أسباب دفعها والتوقي من شرها.This research was structured to study the evidence for referring to scholars in two specific matters: first, clarifying and refuting doubts, and second, referring to them in times of tribulation. This was done by following a descriptive approach, describing the methodology of the Salaf in referring to scholars in the aforementioned two matters, and deriving this from evidence from the Qur'an, Sunnah, and the narrations The Companions and the Successors. Among the most important findings of the research, derived from its evidence, are: the guidance of the Salaf was to ask scholars to clarify doubts, and the great danger of unqualified individuals undertaking the task of clarifying doubts, as this may lead to weakening the arguments of truth, promoting and spreading innovation, and causing the one undertaking the task to fall into doubt and perhaps even innovation. Another finding is that the method of the Salaf is Referring important matters to scholars, seeking guidance from their pronouncements during times of tribulation, recognizing that advanced age is a prerequisite for consulting scholars during such times, and understanding that seeking guidance from scholars during tribulations is a means of averting them and protecting oneself from their evils.
