The study aimed to explore the nature of the relationship between individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their siblings from the siblings’ perspectives, to identify the main challenges influencing these relationships, and to uncover effective approaches for improving them. To achieve these objectives, a qualitative methodology was employed through semi-structured individual interviews as the primary data collection tool. The sample consisted of seven participants, siblings of individuals with ASD, whose ages ranged from sixteen to thirty-seven years, residing in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specifically in the cities of Madinah and Jeddah. The findings revealed five main themes: challenges, coping and adaptation strategies, sibling emotions and emotional transformations, the need for support and assistance, and the journey of acceptance and maturity. Based on these results, the researcher made several recommendations, including conducting longitudinal studies to examine the development of sibling experiences across life stages; designing and developing psychological and social support programs targeting siblings of individuals with ASD; and encouraging schools and universities to engage these siblings in awareness activities and research initiatives that promote understanding and social inclusion.
