Abstract

This research aims to study the use of jewellery design and craftsmanship inspired by national symbols and elements, particularly major occasions such as National Day (91) and Founding Day, as a means of affirming Saudi identity and promoting values of belonging and loyalty. The study adopted a descriptive analytical approach by tracing the historical development of jewellery art, studying the artistic and technical principles associated with it, and linking them to sources of national inspiration. The results showed that national events represent a fertile source of artistic creativity that allows for the production of three-dimensional designs that express identity, enrich cultural tourism, and connect generations with their history and heritage. The study recommends encouraging local designers to draw inspiration from these occasions in their work and supporting educational and marketing initiatives and art exhibitions that highlight national jewellery as an artistic and cultural tool that promotes pride in the nation, its leaders and its future aspirations.
