Abstract
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and all his companions... It is clear to every discerning person that environment and place have a profound impact on intellectual, mental, and cultural development. The dispersal of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) throughout various regions influenced the differences of opinion among the scholars of those regions. Since then, scholars have graduated from this school who had an impact on the schools of jurisprudence after that. All of this, with the lack of a comprehensive study of this school in that country in that early period, called for a study of the thought and methodology of the jurists of Egypt during this period. This was the proposed title: "The Egyptian School of Jurisprudence from the Islamic Conquest until just before the entry of the schools of jurisprudence into Egypt: A Jurisprudential Study." Research Plan: Since jurisprudence in Egypt, before the introduction of the schools of Islamic law, passed through two prominent stages: the stage of formation and learning at the hands of the conquering Companions and those who came from the Hijaz (may God be pleased with them), and the stage of maturity and independence, the research consists of two sections preceded by an introduction. Following these sections is an appendix containing the names of the jurists among the Companions who entered Egypt, and a conclusion including some recommendations and findings of the research, as well as the most important sources and references, and indexes. The introduction explains the terms in the title, and the first section is about the Egyptian school of jurisprudence during its formative and learning stage at the hands of the Companions (may God be pleased with them all). This stage is the stage of emergence The first stage involved the formation of Islamic jurisprudence and learning from the Companions of the Prophet who arrived with the Islamic conquests, such as Amr ibn al-As, Abdullah ibn Amr, and al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad. The second stage of this period was one of maturity and independent legal reasoning, the emergence of the Egyptian school of jurisprudence, and independent independent legal reasoning (the era of the Successors). After the era of the Companions (may God be pleased with them), the mantle of legal knowledge passed to their students from among the Successors and those who came after them. However, in this stage, most of the jurists were born and raised in Egypt, such as Abd al-Rahman ibn Hujayrah al-Khawlani (Ibn Hujayrah the Elder), and it was through them that the independent Egyptian school of jurisprudence emerged. And God is the One who grants success and guides to the straight path.
