Abstract

Aim of Study To investigate the relationship between Fracture risk assessment score (FRAX) and hearing loss in females with postmenopausal osteoporosis. Patients were evaluated using FRAX tool for the assessment of fracture risk and audiological assessment was done for all participants including pure tone audiometry, Arabic speech audiometry, Tympanometry and Otoscopic examination. Results Hearing loss was detected in 71.1% of osteoporotic patients in comparison to 20% of controls.
