Itinerâncias paisagísticas como estratégia pedagógica na pós-graduação
Abstract
This paper presents a qualitative experiential report analyzing the course “Landscape Itinerancies: Trip to the Jequitinhonha Valley,” offered in 2023 within the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. The pedagogical proposal was grounded in territorially focused experiential learning as a formative strategy, integrating experiential education frameworks with teaching practices developed outside conventional classroom settings. Methodologically, the study draws on participant observation, field notes, and a reflective systematization of student evaluations collected at the conclusion of the activity. The results indicate formative gains in cultural, methodological, and theoretical dimensions, highlighting the development of qualified listening, pedagogical attentiveness, and the ability to integrate theory with experience in training researchers and future faculty. The study concludes that formative itinerancies can serve as an effective pedagogical strategy in graduate education, particularly in interdisciplinary contexts. https://doi.org/10.21723/riaee.v21i00.1939802
