Multiphysics Modeling of Vibrations in an Asynchronous Spindle Motor Driven by a Magnetic Eccentric
Abstract
Abstract. One of the main reasons for the failure of asynchronous motor-spindles is the rotor vibration caused by its eccentric position. To study the dynamics of an eccentric motor-spindle, a mathematical model was created in this work, which differs from known models in that the analytical expressions for UMP are based on the law of change in inductance magnetization. This made it possible to obtain analytical dependencies not only for unbalanced magnetic forces, but also for the remaining electrical and magnetic parameters of the motor. The simulation results for the case of dynamic eccentricity are confirmed by the experimental results for a motor-spindle with a power of 2.2 kW. This confirms the accuracy of the model. In general, the theoretical and practical results obtained in the work can be used for convenient modeling of vibration processes in engines and for analyzing problems and diagnosing motor-spindle malfunctions.
