Abstract

Abstract. The paper presents the latest advancements in the design and manufacturing of munitions that can be utilized both in peacetime and wartime. In the former, they can serve as a protective measure for strategic facilities and the state border. At the same time, in the latter, they are designed to neutralize lightly armored vehicles and personnel (fragmentation charges) and to destroy armored vehicles (off-route mines employing explosive-formed projectiles, or EFPs). The study showcases two systems: controlled explosive charges and guided anti-tank mines. These are modern systems operating automatically, utilizing the latest available technologies.
